HORRY COUNTY, S.C. — A single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Conway has left one person hospitalized and all lanes of traffic blocked. Responding to a call around 10 a.m., the Horry County Fire Rescue arrived at the scene on Pee Dee Highway between Hughes Landing Road and Juniper Bay Road, where a car had overturned.
Fire-rescue crews reported the vehicle flipped, and the driver was taken to a hospital with injuries. Authorities have closed the roadway to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the crash. Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while cleanup and response efforts continue.
